Recipe for Fish Tacos

Ingredients

  • 12 cod fillets (1-1/2 oz ea.)
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup beer
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 6 diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 minced onion
  • 2 tb chopped cilantro leaves
  • 2 chopped jalapeno chilies
  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 1 lime cut into wedges
  • garlic powder
  • sliced avocado
  • vegetable oil

Instructions

Wash fish by dipping in a salty water mix with lemon.

Mix a salsa together from the garlic clove, tomatoes, online, cilantro, jalapeno, salt, and pepper. Put aside.

Mix mayonnaise with yogurt to make a white sauce. Put aside.

When fish is dry dip fish in batter mixture of beer, flour and garlic powder.

Coat a skillet with the vegetable oil and preheat to 375 degrees. Cook fish until batter is golden brown.

Heat the tortillas over an oven to get them warm then layer each tortilla with fish, white sauce, salsa, avocado, cabbage and a squeeze of lime.

Now eat them and enjoy!
