Recipe for Shrimp Melts

Ingredients

  • 3/4# shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3/4 cup salsa
  • 2 avocados
  • 2 "French bread" style buns, split
  • Monterey Jack cheese

Instructions

Split buns, peel and slice avocados, and place on open buns. Saute shrimp in salsa for 4 minutes or until cooked. (I used cooked shrimp so I just heated the shrimp and salsa). Put mixture on top of avocados and sprinkle with cheese. Broil for 4 minutes. Enjoy!
