Recipe for Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 cans (7.5 oz. each) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • ½ cup butter, melted, divided
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 to 4 tbs. milk

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°.

Cut dough biscuits into quarters with kitchen scissors.

Mix sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl. Roll dough quarters in cinnamon sugar.

Place ½ of the biscuits into a greased 12 cup fluted tube pan. Drizzle with 1/4 cup of the melted. Top with remaining biscuit quarters. Drizzle with remaining melted butter and top with remaining cinnamon sugar.

Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Prepare Cream Cheese Glaze. Allow loaf to stand for 5 minutes before inverting onto plate.

Cream Cheese Glaze Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar in bowl until well blended. Add milk until desired consistency. Spoon 1/2 over warm loaf and serve. Use remaining 1/2 of glaze for people who like extra icing.
