Recipe for Chicken Breasts in Sour Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 package chipped dried beef *OR* 1/2 lb salt-free ham
  • 6 chicken breast, boned, skinned, and split
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 8 oz carton sour cream
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • Parsley

Instructions

Place dried beef or ham in the bottom of casserole dish (9X13 pan).

Wrap the chicken in bacon strips and arrange on the beef/ham.

Mix the soup and sour cream. Pour over the chicken and cover with foil. Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.

Take off the foil after about an hour. Serve the gravy over rice.
