Recipe for The Best Cake
Ingredients
- 20 oz Can Crushed pineapple DON'T Drain
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. Baking soda
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Frosting
- 1 8oz package cream cheese
- 1 stick of margrine (or butter)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1-1/3 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 350°.
Mix pineapple, eggs,sugar,& vanilla together well. Then mix in the flour & soda and add the nuts. Pour batter into a greased and floured 13"x9"x2" pan. Cook for up to an hour. Check after 30 min.
Also, you can double this recipe and make a 3 layer cake. Just make sure the cakes are COMPLETELY cool or they will slide right off one another. It's also a good idea to triple the frosting recipe if your going to go for the layered version.
