Recipe for Nachos Fiesta
Ingredients
- 1 can nacho cheddar cheese sauce
- 12 oz package fully cooked taco seasoned beef crumbles (can use taco seasoned ground beef)
- 10 oz bag tortilla chips
- 1/2 head lettuce, thinly sliced
- 2 med tomatoes, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 jar (16 oz) picante sauce
- 1/4 cup jalapeno slices, drained
Instructions
Combine cheese sauce and beef in microwave safe bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Heat in microwave on high power for 3 minutes. Set aside.
Spread 1/2 bag of chips on large serving platter or tray. Spoon half of the cheese/beef mixture over the chips. Spread remaining of the chips over first layer of chips and spoon remaining cheese/beef mixture over the chips.
Top the cheese and beef covered chips with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, picante sauce, and jalapeno slices.
Optional Avocado may be chopped and added to the top of the chips. Sprinkle it before the picante sauce. Enjoy!
